Zoe got spayed yesterday :( She was terrified once she realized where we were, because she absolutely hates the vet. I felt bad leaving her there, because during her shots I've always been there with her and comforting her.
I got a voicemail from the vet's office during work saying that there were no complications during surgery and her bloodwork came back normal. They also pulled 7 of her baby teeth while she was asleep, because they weren't falling out on their own even though her adult teeth have already started to come in. We were able to visit her after work. She was still pretty out of it, though.
When we picked her up this morning, they said that when they took her out to go potty this morning, that she was happy and running around. And while we were there, guess who was there taking pictures?? Santa! Haha! They were doing free pictures with the animals, so since we were there already, we got her a picture.
She's happy to be home. Can't wait til we can get her sutures out in 10 days and then she will be her normal self again. We love our little girl!
