Christmas!!

December is here! This will be our first Christmas together, and my first Christmas not back home with my family. It was just too expensive to fly both of us to Maine. Plus, I'm hoping to bring Jan back home when it is warm, so he can eat fresh Maine seafood and see what I mean when I say Utah is not green. Jan's family is going to come up, so we will have family here for Christmas.

For our first tree, we decided to go with a fake one (less hassle) and do blue, silver, and white. I'm thinking we may have three or four different color sets, each for different years, but we both agreed on blue and silver for this year.

We planned on setting up our Christmas tree on December 1st, and make it a tradition... That's when we started to put it together. Thursday, we set up the tree, Friday and Saturday we put lights on, and on Monday we finished the decorating. I don't think I've ever had to set up a Christmas tree with only 2 people, so it was a lot more work than before! It's done now though. Yay! Christmas!!
