tasted different, and I wouldn't eat the orange or green ones. Thankfully, Oliver hasn't been like that. (Yet, at least. I hope I'm not jinxing it!) I even gave him a few bites of some Indian food for lunch today, and he liked it. One thing he has recently fallen in love with is chocolate. I gave him some chocolate (It had to happen sometime, right?) from his Halloween candy, and he loved it. Today, I was eating some of my own dark chocolate, and he knew instantly what it was and started whining for some. I gave him some, thinking it would be too bitter for his taste, but he absolutely loved it! I didn't give him very much, but here's a photo.
In other news, I have found socks that stay on Oliver's feet for more than two seconds (literally, two seconds). Another mom in our ward told me about these socks at Wal-Mart called Growing Socks. She said they were the best that she has found, so I went and bought some. They still come off, but only every hour or two. He even woke up from two naps today with his socks. . . wait for it. . . still on!!! It's a miracle! I wouldn't blog about this unless I thought that it might really help another parent whose child pulls their socks off every chance they can. Cute feet!
