Zoe! And our New Apartment :D

Our little Zoe! She can't stay still for a picture to save her life! She is absolutely adorable and, unfortunately, just as needy as I am. I think the first time we had to go to work and leave her for about 8 hours was a complete shock to her system! Now that it has been a week, I think she's starting to get used to it. Although, she is little, she can do some major damage. Look at her toy pig! It was completely fine when we left her on Thursday morning. I came home to find the pig like this... In case you couldn't tell, the pig's right leg used to be like the others, haha.


She grew up with hardwood floors, so our carpet was like a new toy to her when we brought her home last Saturday. She's gotten better, but she likes to bite and pee on it. She is mostly potty trained already. The breeder taught her to go on a fake indoor grass mat. It helps her to know it is okay to go outside too. We bought one, and she almost always goes there. We had to take the kitchen rug away because she thought it was okay to go there too.

She doesn't like going on walks! Whenever we open the door and tell her to come, she runs away. I think she just doesn't like the heat. Before we even get into the sun, she starts panting. When we do take her on walks, she tries to walk in our shadows as much as possible. We don't even need to use a collar. She just naturally follows us. She doesn't even stop to smell the roses!







As you can probably already tell, kids (and adults, as a matter of fact) are drawn to her. I can't bring her to the park without spending 97% of my time letting people play with her. Let's just say, we are going to try to bring her to parks not overflowing with people. These are the few pictures that I've taken of her this week, but I will add more as I take them!

Well, the whole reason we are able to have Zoe is because of our lovely new apartment. We are still trying to get a few things settled and trying to decorate some more, but here it is for now. Enjoy!
